Brut Imperial’s Subtlety

By Damilola Adekoya

MOET and Chandon’s Brut Imperial Champagne is a balanced assemblage of the three grape varieties, which are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
It is made to share, for lovers and celebrations, this brand of wine is widely known across the world.
The elegant and harmonious blend in pale yellow liquid with green hints comes in stylish, yet familiar bottle that never fails to impress. The taste is supple, with a refined and refreshing finish. Each mouthful is an absolute delight.
French in origin, this sparkling wine, and the best-selling brand of Moet was introduced in the 1860s. It has a delicate well-balanced palate; yet, it is complex with great depth infused with flavours of butter and brioche and a high concentration of candied fruit, ginger bread and vanilla. A very pleasurable champagne to savour, it leaves behind a sense of harmony and mellowness with peach and nectarine lingering.
Its aroma is subtle and tropically warm with a lime blossom attack, and an aperitif wine, which also accompanies fish dishes.
This delicious champagne goes with absolutely anything, except chili. Although the French would think it is sacrilege, it is excellent when well chilled. The beading is very fine and long-lasting.
